Diagnosis: Metastatic breast cancer

The scan showed the cancer had spread to the skeleton, lung and lymph nodes. The lungs were drained twice and the prognosis was she had very little time to live.

Symptoms:

Tumour on right breast, which presented as an open wound as the tumour has grown too big to be contained beneath the skin layer. She suffered from a loss of appetite accompanied by very low energy levels. There was also considerably loss of body weight and coughing.

After treatment:

Tumour continues to reduce very slowly in size. It is now 50% of its original size. There is no open wound. The client’s appetite is good. She has gained weight and her energy levels are 75% of normal. She almost has no cough any more. She has begun work in a nursery school. We continue to support her at Phare whilst continuing to develop a more comprehensive treatment.

Client’s feedback:

I really like this way of working, to go deep inside, and understand more about where the source of the illness has come from and not just deal with symptoms. To work with Sarah has been a fantastic way of healing, not only my body but even my soul. It has been a great help to be able to talk to Sarah to discuss what is happening, she was fantastic, she was always there for me when I needed to understand what was going on. It feels like I am peeling an onion, layers after layers, healing from inside to outside. I feel so much more honest. I find I am more able to be true to myself and this makes me feel better and better every day.
